I bought a second hand hunter last April I go out once or twice a week but am not yet sure of it’s range however I have just done the Exeter to Exmouth cycle track which is just over 20 miles long, on return only one of the three battery lights had gone out. It is very useful for accessing local places of interest and I look forward to blackberry picking in the coming weeks so am happy so far

Mr D G

My wife and I have now owned our Axcess Hunter & Exmoor for 6 months and so far we are very pleased with them, and their performance.
We have been especially impressed with the battery life and just how long we can go between charges.
We would definitely recommend buying a Axcess Electric Bike.

Mr G R

We bought 2 hunter bikes a few weeks ago, they are brilliant. Thank you everyone at access bikes for your wonderful service and patience.

I purchased my axcess hunter from the Honiton has a good design build, the shimano gears are a dream to use and disc brakes very effective.the thumb throttle very good in towns for start stops being over eighty years old all my hills have now gone

Mr R B

We purchased two Axcess electric bikes in March of this year, ( a Hunter and a Mustang) and we could not have been more pleased. Since then we have covered many miles, and hills are no problem. The only one small criticism is that they are considerably heavier than our old bikes when loading on our cycle rack, even with battery removed, but a small price to pay for two first class bicycles !

Mr M

Excellent bicycle. Especially as I have had a knee replaced and had trouble getting over the crank on a conventional cycle.

Mr G H

I bought my Axcess Hunter electric bike about a year after my wife bought a similar bike from Axcess as I could no longer keep up with her on the hills! The bike is very sturdy, and the step-through frame and “sit up and beg” riding position are very comfortable. The three levels of power assist are combined with a normal 7-speed gear system. I find that on most cycle trails only level one is needed with the assist kicking in when required. Out on the road (in Devon and Scotland) the other two levels are more than adequate to get me up hills without having to pedal too hard. They are also good in town traffic, with the “thumb throttle” feature being very useful at traffic lights. We carry our bikes on a small motorhome and they are very useful for getting to shops etc from campsites, as well as for cycle excursions. Recharging of batteries is simple and can be done overnight in the home (or in our motorhome when using a power hookup). The range the bike covers does depend on which the level of assist used, but we reckon on covering at least 25-30 miles on a full charge. The only time I ran out of battery power was my own fault as I neglected to recharge! However, I had no problems covering 7 to 8 miles back home under “pedal” power. The bikes are heavier to lift than ordinary ones and did require a more sturdy carrier than we had before. Ours go on a tow ball mounted rack and we had no trouble with that on a three-week trip to Scotland from Devon. The brakes work well, with the power being shut off as soon as they are touched. The personnel at Axcess were very knowledgeable and gave good, sound advice when we were choosing our bikes. I used to have a 3-mile commuting cycle, ending in a very steep hill, when I was working. I wish that I had the Axcess Hunter back then!

Mr E U

I purchased the Access Hunter bike in November. As I live in Devon I was able to visit the showroom in Honiton and try the bikes before deciding which one would be best for me. I was given good advice and was very pleased with the speed of service. I am enjoying getting out and about on my smart red bike; I can exert myself on small hills and then let the bike take the strain! I look forward to going greater distances in better weather confident that I can travel a long way in comfort.

Mrs J G

Excellent company to deal with we bought hunter and e-sport electric bikes we have proved to be exactly what we wanted. Always helpful and courteous.

Axcess were the nearest specialist supplier of Ebikes, and there web page gave good descriptions. I visited their premises, tried out their folding models around the factory estate and on that basis chose a ELife folding bike as the one best suited to my needs. I have been pleased with the model I chose. - It is of robust construction with front fork suspension and it deals well with farm tracks and forest trails - it folds easily and fits in the back of the car - it shrinks distances compared with my old pedal bike - it has coped with all hills I have so far tried it on - I don't know what its range is (30 miles seems about right for gentle countryside). I had thought that battery capacity would be a limitation, but it is not. It is in fact saddle soreness.
I recently purchased the Axcess Electric Shetland folding bike which fits nicely In the back of my SUV without having to lower the rear seats. It’s an excellent bike and build .. easy to mount and dismount .. perfectly suitable for me as I am now in my mid fifties and appreciate a little assistance nowadays on longer journeys and Inclines , that said It’s a great bike for any adult whatever there age and as they say ... It has the power to get you there and back. I have previously owned two other electric cycles of another brand that were hard work to cycle when the power was off even on the flat. I’m pleased to say that this Is not an Issue with the Axcess Electric Bike that you can pedal with ease If and when the power Is not required ..
