The WestHill Classic is a smart well specified step-through electric bike with the battery completely hidden within the frame. The 18″ frame size will suit a wide range of riders and the riding position is reasonably upright, with good adjustment in both the handlebar and saddle. There is a suspension seat post. The bike has a derailleur with 7 gears and the power is controlled using an LCD display on the left hand handlebar. This turns the bike On and OFF, selectrs the 9 levels of pedal assist, shows speed, odometer, trip distance, ride time, max and average speed. Additionally there is a battery state indicator.
The battery is inserted into the bottom of the down tube and is a 36V X 11.1Ah (400Ah) and we would expect an average rider to achieve about 35 miles in a reasonably hilly area. On a calm day on a flat ride double this range might be achieved. The battery can be charged, either on or off the bike.
The front lamp is operated from the main battery and the rear lamp uses its own dry cells.
Warranty: Frame 3 years: Motor 2 years: Battery, Charger and Controller 2 Years. Further Warranty conditions are detailed in the user manual
In all this is a very nice bike to ride for one who wants comfort and performance at a reasonable price
